Three wildfires were reported this week at a Northern California national forest, the U.S. Forest Service said. The fires, located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near the city of Big Bar, were caused by lightning and had a low rate of spread, officials said. These fires include the Waterman Fire, located west of Hirz Bay up to the McCloud arm of Shasta Lake, the Stuart Fire, southwest of Stuart's Fork Trailhead near Trinity Lake and the Rich Fire, east of Ridgeville near Trinity Lake, the agency said.
